Salem, Massachusetts is one of my very favorite places in the entire state. Upon moving to New England, it was one of my most anticipated places to see and now I’ve been back several times. It just never gets old!
One of the most exciting things to do in Salem is to visit several of the film sights from Hocus Pocus, many of which can be seen by foot around town.
Where Max is spotted interacting with his classmates. This one is actually located in Marblehead, the town over, but you can also visit Old Burying Point Cemetery in Salem to get the same vibes.
Where the Halloween party takes places when the Sanderson Sisters sing “I Put a Spell on You.” While the entire scene wasn’t filmed here, a few of the shots were! It’s an awesome and historic building overall.
