Don’t sleep on the lobster rolls from Beach House Grill at @chathambarsinn 🦞👀 Hands down my favorite lobster roll I’ve had not just on the Cape, but all time. A New England summer isn’t complete without them! Paired with crispy French fries and a salted watermelon margarita, you truly cannot go wrong. Not only is the food great, but the location and atmosphere is the epitome of summer on Cape Cod with quick access to the beach. Welcome to @theabnerhotel👩🏻‍⚖️🏨✨ Once the esteemed Litchfield County Courthouse built in 1880, The Abner has been transformed into a luxurious 20-room boutique hotel. The building’s original Romanesque Revival architecture has been preserved, featuring elements like the grand clocktower and stone facade. The main courtroom now houses “The Courtroom” restaurant, offering modern tavern fare in a space with original wainscoting and 14-foot ceilings. Verdict, the hotel’s season rooftop, offers an outdoor bar and panoramic views of Litchfield. I didn’t get to experience the rooftop during my stay (because New England weather ☔️) but got to tour the space. As a true crime junkie, I love any experience that gives me a taste of our justice system 😂 The Abner is such a cool spot with chic decor, a delicious and elegant dining experience, and a cute downtown area with shops + one of the best delis I’ve been to. ✔️Save this for your adventures in Litchfield, Connecticut and send to someone you want to go with! #litchfield #connecticut
