The Liberty Hotel Boston Review

The Liberty Hotel Review

There’s nothing quite like an experience in the city of Boston. It’s the kind of place that is beautiful in every season (as long as you like snow) with plenty to do year-round. I always suggest staying in Boston for 2-3 days to get the full experience. Boston is an extremely functional city and it’s easy to get around as most things are within walking distance or a quick train or Uber ride away.

One of the most beautiful neighborhoods is Beacon Hill which includes the lovely and chic Liberty Hotel Boston. The hotel is located at 215 Charles St, Boston, MA 02114 and is part of A Luxury Hotel Collection and a part of The Marriott Bonvoy program. The building has been standing since 1851 and was once known as The Charles Street Jail. The building stopped being a jail in 1990. But it wasn’t until 2007 when it was renovated and the hotel elements came into play. There are still preserved elements of the building and jail-like cells and architecture to be spotted throughout. While the hotel is old and historic, the entrance is grand. The layout is mysterious and the overall atmosphere is magical.

The Liberty Hotel has 298 rooms and suites, gorgeous interior design, an interesting layout and an exciting nightlife. What makes the hotel unique are a number of things. But overall, the location, architecture, restaurants, nightlife and kind and accommodating staff are what make it truly special. The people are always the greatest assets of any place and that stands true for The Liberty Hotel.

The Liberty Hotel Boston Review

The Liberty Hotel Boston Rooms

With 298 rooms and suites, comes a plethora of choices. At The Liberty Hotel you’ll have access to the Superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, Grand Deluxe Rooms, The Charles River Suite and the Ebersol Suite. In-room features include 24-hour room service, in-room safes, high speed internet, high definition LCD Tvs, in-room private bars, Molton Brown bathroom amenities and overnight shoeshine.

Each guest room at The Liberty Hotel is thoroughly preserved to represent the history of the hotel while also providing a luxurious, modern twist. Many of the rooms feature plush bedding, stunning decor, an ideal room layout and views of Beacon Hill and The Charles River. The view from my room was insane! Definitely one of the best views I’ve seen in Boston. And it was the best way to watch the sunset; with a glass of champagne and delicious macarons.

In addition, the room is the perfect layout for getting work done as it has lounge seating and a desk to switch up your atmosphere whether you’re a business traveler or doing a little staycation.

If you’re interested in booking a room at The Liberty Hotel, be sure to do so through my VIP hotel booking link to get the best room and rates.

I love how they encourage fitness, being immersed in the community. And getting a taste of the Boston culture both indoors and outdoors.

My friend and I attended the Fashionably Late Thursday event and absolutely loved the vibe, music, cocktails and fashion show. The hotel has a famous catwalk where the models walk around the upstairs which is visible to everyone in the lobby, making it a super unique experience. They have photographers, a DJ, live performances and plenty to eat and drink. I already can’t wait to take my friends to Fashionably Late Thursdays for a night out!

The Liberty Hotel Boston Dining Options

With such an epic hotel comes with epic dining choices. At The Liberty Hotel, you have access to CLINK., The Liberty Bar, Alibi, Scampo and private dining options. CLINK. offers fresh North Atlantic seafood, heritage meats and seasonal New England dishes, Scampo offers contemporary Italian cuisine and sensational wines, Alibi offers a more intimate cocktail & nightlife scene and The Liberty Bar takes center-stage in the main lobby with delicious eats and drinks to go around.

I had the pleasure of attending the Michter’s Bourbon Dinner experience on a vibey Thursday evening where we had a 4-course meal and whiskey pairing. The dinner includes passed Hudson Valley Foie Gras Toast, Carpaccio of Wagyu Beef, Bourbon Basted Lamb Shank & caramelized winter stone fruits. Not only did we have a full 4-course meal, but we got to hear a word from Chef Daniel Kennedy to learn more about the parings and where the flavors really shine. It was a full crowd who attended the dinner experience with a mix of couples, friends and co-workers. CLINK. often has events like these and I heard through the grapevine, they will be doing a frozen rosé event in the summer…

My Honest Review Of The Liberty Hotel Boston Review

The Liberty Hotel definitely surpassed my expectations. I knew this was an epic hotel but between the grand entrance, glass of champagne upon arrival, history, architecture, guest rooms, amazing views, kind staff and nightlife, I was completely blown away. You simply cannot be bored at this hotel. The rooms were luxuriously modern. The hotel itself is extremely functional and the staff was as kind and generous as ever. I love how there are so many rooms, hallways, restaurants and bars to explore that it makes you feel like you’re in a little world of your own while staying here.

What stood out to me the most, in addition to the kind hospitality, are the weekly events they so intentionally put together for guests and the local community. The fact that they have something going on every night of the week makes it exciting, refreshing and innovative to stand out from the rest. I already plan to take friends here when they visit the city. So they can get a little touch of the amazing Boston culture.

A Maine lobster dinner is one of those experiences that never gets old. 🦞 Every trip to Bar Harbor includes at least one meal where the lobster is fresh, the views are unbeatable, and the pace of life slows down for a little while.. Stewman’s Lobster Pound checks all the boxes with waterfront dining, classic Maine seafood, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why so many people fall in love with coastal Maine. Have you visited Stewman’s before, or do you have another favorite lobster spot in Bar Harbor?🦞 #barharbormaine #visitmaine #newengland #coastalmaine

Bar Harbor, Maine is one of those New England destinations I keep coming back to. And Thousand Trails offers the most comfortable & remote camping experience. @thousandtrails #ad Some of my favorite travel memories involve slowing down and spending time outdoors, so being able to truly connect with nature like this is such a treat. Here you can pitch a tent, rent an RV or stay in a cabin, while soaking in the serene atmosphere. There’s just something special about ending the day around a campfire with s’mores, good conversation, and nothing but the sounds of nature around you. If you’re planning a trip to Maine this season and want a more laid-back way to experience Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, check out Mt Desert Narrows Campground with Thousand Trails. These niche summer feelings can be experienced almost anywhere and I know I’m not alone in feeling giddy when they resurface every year, especially all the “firsts” of the season. Here are a few specific summer things that make me insanely happy: 1. Waking up & getting ready on the first day of vacation down The Cape or the islands.   2. Watching everyone collectively lose their minds on the first 80-something day. 3. Talking and laughing for hours on someone’s back deck or restaurant patio. 4. Saying phrases like, “Can you believe this weather?” and “We earned this.”   5. The first time you drive with your windows down on the way to the beach. 6. Looking for seals every single time you’re near the water. 7. Deciding to go to the beach in the late afternoon instead.   8. The first lobster roll of the season. It’s not summer until you order one of these, even if it’s the only time you do.   9. The smell of the grill, burgers, and hot dogs at a cookout. 10. The first outdoor concert, festival, or town band performance. 11. The buzz you feel in a lively atmosphere after ordering your second Aperol Spritz as the live band warms up. 12. Getting an ice cream cone at the local creamery at dusk in a sweatshirt and shorts 13. Realizing the water is actually warm enough to swim in August. 14. Getting that spontaneous text from a friend: “Do you want to come over for a firepit?” 15. Watching the sunset and thinking “We are so lucky to live here.” But the one that always hurts: hearing someone say, “Summer’s already flying by.” Enjoy your Summer in New England, my friends. It is always fleeting.   What would you add to the list? #newengland #newenglandsummer #coastalliving

A little BTS of my brand trip to Nantucket with @cruoftwopr ☀️ While every trip is different, this Nantucket retreat with Cru of Two PR was one of the best examples of how brands can create meaningful experiences instead of simply showcasing products. We had the opportunity to meet the people behind the products, learn their stories, and connect in ways that felt authentic and memorable. As someone who values experiences over things, these are the partnerships that stand out. Here’s the itinerary: ✨ DAY 1
• Arrivals and check-in
• Relaxation by the pool
• Welcome sips and snacks with @mahigold
• Sunset cruise around Nantucket with @discoverboating
• Dinner & interior design tour at @thenantucket ✨ DAY 2
• Morning yoga with @yoga.with.emmy & @oofos
• Lunch at @ciscobrewers with @oofos
• Free time to explore the island - Went to @bartlettsfarm, @nantucketlooms, @mitchellsbookcorner, & @nantucketjuicebar
• Happy hour and charm bar with @reebok
• Waterfront dinner at @straightwharffish with @reebok
• Mudslides at @tavernandgazebo_nantucket (RIP?🥲) ✨ DAY 3
• Bike ride to Cisco Beach
• Needlepoint class with @ericawilsonnantucket & @drinkolipop
• More relaxation by the pool before departures Huge thank you to @cruoftwopr for bringing together such an incredible group of women and creating an itinerary that showcased both the brands and the magic of Nantucket so beautifully. 🤍 Let me know if you have any questions about the brands or things we did!
